Pillar 02 · The Avodahian Code

    Calling over Comfort

    Obedience moves before ease.

Avodahians say yes to the assignment even when the assignment is heavier than the highlight.

God rarely calls comfortable people. Comfort is not the enemy of faith — drifting is. The moment ease becomes the metric, the calling quietly dies.

Calling over comfort means you measure your life by obedience, not by the absence of friction. Risk becomes a posture, not a personality trait. You count the cost — and pay it.

An Avodahian doesn't chase suffering, but they refuse to let comfort dictate direction. When God speaks, the response is movement — not a survey of how it will feel.

    Scripture

"Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me."

    Luke 9:23
