Introduction: Leadership in the Furnace
Every generation faces its own version of the fiery furnace. For Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, it was literal flames. For modern leaders, it may look like ethical compromise, pressure to conform, or the heat of public scrutiny. Whether in corporate boardrooms, classrooms, or community work, leadership will eventually demand a decision:Will we stand firm in our values, or bow to convenience?
Great leaders are not defined by ease—they are refined by fire. Courage is not the absence of fear;it’sthe refusal to let fear dictate direction.
